AN EARTHWORM'S PRAYER
Thank You Lord for giving me life
I know I am slippery- probably covered with slime
But thank You for the dirt and the earth which I eat
And thank You for the sun which always gives me heat
I am sorry; I think I am wasting Your time
You are really very great and really divine
So I shall use my gift to cultivate the land
From which will spring flowers that are beautiful and grand
